Today, the Sciencenter is a nationally recognized museum, hosting 100,000 guests in Ithaca each year and reaching over 1.5 million guests worldwide through our traveling exhibitions and outreach programs.

The Sciencenter is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and is a member of the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) and Association of Children’s Museums (ACM).

HORSE & FARM SANCTUARY   –    COW CUDDLING & MEET THE HORSES
 
​The Horse & Cow Experience is a unique way of connecting, interacting, getting close, playing, learning, sharing space, finding wellness and having fun with our herd of horses and cows. It does not involve riding horses.  All interactions are done on the ground and no prior experience is necessary.

Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center

Special things happen when children and horses are brought together.

There is a unique bond between horses and people that can be particularly meaningful to children with disabilities. Riding programs provide a relaxing, non-academic environment in which children can interact with adults and peers and more importantly with their horse.
