To provide snowsports experiences and skill development for people with disabilities utilizing the safest and most effective adaptive equipment and qualified/trained volunteer staff in a fun, supportive, and positive learning atmosphere.  Our goal is to make the mountain and the excitement of snowsports available to everyone.

We’re proud to host College for Living courses, which are geared toward students and Central New York community members with intellectual disabilities. College for Living courses are generally offered on evenings and weekends, and cover topics like life skills, money and finances, and inter-personal communication. As one of 20 model programs in the United States for transition and postsecondary programs for students with intellectual disabilities, Syracuse University’s InclusiveU sets an example other programs want to follow. Through InclusiveU, an initiative of the Lawrence B. Taishoff Center for Inclusive Higher Education, students with intellectual and developmental disabilities are part of a strong community where they are fully included with their peers.

Sensory Friendly Science is a set of resources, programs, and exhibits designed to support STEM learning for children with sensory processing difficulties, autism, and other developmental disabilities. From hands-on activities for home learning to our award-winning Sensory Friendly Time sessions each month, Sensory Friendly Science is just one way the MOST fulfills its mission of science education for our community.
